Our Story

Wanox was founded in 1958 with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between European engineering excellence, particularly Italian precision, and the cost-effective scalability of APAC manufacturing. Over the decades, Wanox has evolved into a global leader in precision injection molding, delivering high-quality, sustainable plastics solutions for the medical, automotive, and electronics industries.

Wanox began with the Plax Group, a small family-owned business in Zola Predosa, Italy. By the 1980s, Wanox had developed high-precision molds for the electronics industry. In 1995, we expanded to Asia, laying the foundation for cost-efficient, high-quality production. The launch of Wanox Asia Pacific in 2007 marked a significant milestone, with a focus on medical and automotive-grade polymers. In 2015, Wanox introduced its sustainable materials division, pioneering biodegradable and recyclable plastics to support global ESG goals.

In recent years, we have seen continued expansion, with new locations in Singapore, India, Thailand, and Malaysia in 2024, followed by the establishment of an R&D Hub in Shanghai in 2025. While the Italian headquarters remains integral to quality and innovation, Wanox has undergone a strategic restructuring, incorporating its own headquarters in Singapore to better serve global clients.

Wanox has also led advancements in micro-molding technology, enabling the production of ultra-small, high-precision medical components critical for next-generation implantable devices and minimally invasive surgical tools.

With over 17 years of operational experience in Asia, Wanox operates state-of-the-art injection molding workshops, professional medical cleanrooms, and fully automated assembly lines. Adhering to ISO14001, IATF 16949,ISO 13485 and ISO45001 standards, Wanox ensures every product meets the highest international quality benchmarks.

From humble beginnings to a multinational presence, Wanox continues to drive innovation and precision in high-performance plastics manufacturing.
